HaiQi's MSW Pyrolysis Gasification Power Plant in China Nears Completion
As urbanization accelerates, the pressure on municipal waste management continues to grow. In response to the demand for greener, low-carbon development, HaiQi New Energy Group provided a tailored pyrolysis and gasification power generation solution for a client in China. The project has now reached the roof-topping phase. Designed to process municipal solid waste, it adopts HaiQi's independently developed high-temperature, oxygen-limited pyrolysis and gasification technology. The plant is equipped with four production lines and is designed to handle up to 600 tons of waste per day. Once completed, it is expected to serve as a model project for urban waste-to-energy conversion in China.
The facility utilizes advanced pyrolysis and gasification equipment to convert the organic fraction of municipal waste into combustible gas, which is then used for power generation through an energy recovery system. The plant is equipped with an intelligent control platform, enabling fully automated operation and ensuring stable performance and high energy efficiency. The renewable electricity generated can be fed into the grid or used locally, partially replacing fossil fuel-based energy and helping to reduce pressure on urban energy supply systems.
